1 Response times & severity levels

Support requests are triaged by severity. The following response time targets apply during business hours (AWST, Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays) for standard support. Enterprise customers receive priority routing and extended coverage.

Priority Definition Initial response Target resolution
P1 — Critical Service completely unavailable or data inaccessible for all users in a tenant. 2 business hours 1 business day
P2 — High Core review workflow is impaired; significant functionality unavailable for multiple users. 4 business hours 2 business days
P3 — Medium Non-critical feature is unavailable or behaving unexpectedly. Workaround available. 1 business day 5 business days
P4 — Low General questions, feature requests, onboarding assistance, and documentation queries. 2 business days Best effort

Response times are measured from the time a complete ticket is received during business hours. Tickets received outside business hours are queued for the next business day. Enterprise customers may negotiate extended SLA coverage as part of their agreement.

2 How to raise a support request

Include the following and we can usually start on a fix without a round of follow-up questions:

1

Your organisation and tenant details

Your company name, Microsoft 365 tenant domain (e.g. yourcompany.onmicrosoft.com), and the DC Workflow administrator's email address.

2

Description of the issue

What you were trying to do, what happened instead, and any error messages displayed. A screenshot or screen recording helps.

3

Steps to reproduce

A step-by-step description of how to reproduce the issue, including any specific document types, review configurations, or user roles involved.

4

Environment details

Which client you're on (Microsoft Teams or the web app), your browser or Teams version, and your operating system.

5

Business impact

How many users are affected and how urgent it is. This sets the priority your ticket is assigned.

3 IT administrator resources

DC Workflow runs inside your Microsoft 365 tenant. The following resources are available to IT administrators during evaluation, deployment, and day-to-day operations.

Available documentation and resources
Deployment guide
Step-by-step instructions for deploying DC Workflow as a Microsoft Teams app via the Teams Admin Center, including app manifest configuration and custom app policy setup. Available on request from enterprise@dcworkflow.com.
Azure AD app registration guide
Instructions for registering DC Workflow in your Azure AD tenant, configuring redirect URIs, requesting Graph API permissions, and granting admin consent on behalf of your organisation.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
A signed DPA is available for enterprise customers. Required for GDPR compliance where DC Workflow processes personal data on behalf of your organisation. Contact privacy@dcworkflow.com to request.
Security questionnaire responses
Pre-completed responses to common enterprise vendor security questionnaires (VSQs) covering data handling, access controls, encryption, incident response, and business continuity. Available on request.
Penetration test summary
An executive summary of our most recent external penetration test is available to enterprise customers under NDA. Contact enterprise support to request.
Conditional Access compatibility
DC Workflow is compatible with Azure AD Conditional Access policies including MFA enforcement, compliant device requirements, and named location restrictions. No special exclusions are required.
Teams Admin Center approval
DC Workflow can be deployed organisation-wide via the Teams Admin Center app setup policies, allowing IT to control which users and groups have access without requiring individual sideloading.

4 Common Microsoft 365 setup issues

The following issues come up during initial deployment and can usually be resolved by your Azure AD or Teams administrator.

Issue and resolution
Custom app upload disabled
Your Teams tenant policy does not permit custom app uploads. An administrator must enable this under Teams Admin Center → Teams apps → Setup policies → Global → Upload custom apps. Allow up to 24 hours for the policy to propagate.
Admin consent required
Your Azure AD tenant requires administrator consent before users can authorise applications. An administrator must grant consent for DC Workflow's Graph API permissions via Azure Portal → Enterprise Applications → DC Workflow → Permissions → Grant admin consent.
Conditional Access blocking sign-in
A Conditional Access policy is preventing DC Workflow from authenticating. Review the Azure AD Sign-in logs for the failing condition (device compliance, MFA, location, etc.) and ensure DC Workflow is included in your policy scope as intended.
SharePoint permissions error
DC Workflow requires Sites.ReadWrite.All to interact with document libraries. This permission requires administrator consent. Ensure admin consent has been granted and that SharePoint is not restricted by a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy that would block API access.
Teams tab shows blank screen
This typically occurs when the app's content URL is blocked by your organisation's web filtering or proxy. Ensure dcworkflow.com and *.azurestaticapps.net are permitted through your proxy and firewall for Teams client connections.

Responsible security disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability in DC Workflow, please report it privately to security@dcworkflow.com before any public disclosure. We acknowledge all credible reports within 24 hours and work to remediate verified vulnerabilities as a priority. We do not pursue legal action against researchers who act in good faith and follow responsible disclosure practices.
